Security is at the heart of Lucinity’s culture and manifests in the hiring process, employee onboarding, training, and company events. That’s why we’re extremely proud to announce that we have successfully passed the ISO 27001 certification audit, one of the best international standards regarding information security.
What is the ISO 27001 certification?
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, international organization that sets international standards for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
ISO 27001 is a part of the ISO 27000 family of standards, related to information security. To receive the certificate a company needs to have an Information Security Management System in place and deploy multiple efforts through system development and deployment, infrastructure, talent management, and daily operations to ensure the security and privacy of customer data.
Why the ISO 27001 certification?
Delivering state-of-the-art AML services to leading financial institutions requires the well-organized management of sensitive personal data. We recognize that our customer’s data is one of their most valuable assets. Therefore, security and compliance are in our DNA.
The ISO 27001 certificate is a testament to the fact that we prioritize data security and invest in people, processes, and technology to protect our data. It marks an essential milestone in our journey of Making Money Good.
“Being a SaaS provider handling sensitive personal data from leading financial institutions, security is at the heart of our operations. I am very pleased to have completed the certification of our information security management system, a key milestone in our journey to delivering world-class solutions to fight financial crime.” – Jóhann Fr.
